Lindsey A Miller - Photographer

Hello, I’m Lindsey.

I am an explorer, an observer, an artist.

Curiosity is my passion and I love experiencing the world through the lens of my camera. I first fell in love with photography when I began to travel almost 20 years ago. Capturing my travel experiences on film and reliving the memories after the trip awoke the artist within me. I decided to study photography and in 2010, I pursued it full-time, having never looked back.

Over the years, I have had the advantage of working in many different fields of photography. I have photographed important life events like weddings and family portraits, worked with corporate clients to document large conferences and incentive travel trips, helped small businesses and entrepreneurs create imagery that reflects their brands, collaborated with chefs to highlight their restaurants for publications, and, of course, I’ve documented my travels around the world.

The thread woven throughout my work is my love for documenting the human experience. I want the world to learn about each other - we all have similar struggles and celebrations, fears and joys. I want the world to understand that we are all human, we're in this together.

Photography has gifted me endless opportunities to meet new people, hear their stories, and turn their experiences into beautiful photos for them to treasure or to help grow their businesses or brands. I've been told over and over again that I make people feel comfortable when they are in front of my camera. This privilege has empowered me to be able to document some of the most important and intimate events in people's lives, work with amazingly talented business owners, creatives, and culinary greats, and travel to amazing locations. I’m still amazed and humbled I get to call this my “job.” I can honestly say, I love what I do.

An explorer at heart, you can find me traveling throughout the Coastal & Appalachian South, where I have lived for the last 25 years, planning extended road trips to new corners of the US, and adding stamps to my passport, one country at a time.

I am available for select projects worldwide. I would love to hear from you and see if I am the right person to help tell your story.

As artists, it’s our job to observe, interpret, and report.
