The Flynn Family // A Wild Dunes Family Portrait Session
.
Wind in the hair, sand between the toes, and giggles, tons of giggles. I just loved photographing this sweet family on the early morning beach this summer.
Rachel and Greg // A Charleston Engagement
.
Rachel and Greg are one of my awesome 2015 wedding couples! We photographed their engagement session last fall at the Mt. Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park and in beautiful Historic Downtown Charleston. The windy weather didn't stop these two from looking cute and having a great time with their dog Brewer in the park. And I am in love with how classy they look in the photos we took near the Battery park area in Downtown Charleston. I am so excited to be a part of Rachel & Greg's fall wedding later this year!
Katie and Travis // A College of Charleston Engagement
.
This awesome couple is getting married next month in Charleston! Katie and Travis had their engagement session on the campus of their (and my!) alma mater - The College of Charleston. It had been a looooong time since I'd been on campus, and I completely forgot how gorgeous it is! Even in winter, the historic campus is amazing, full of color, beautiful texture and light.
Katie and Travis brought their dog Whiskey to their session. This dog has some serious energy! Not to mention, be barked like crazy every time Katie and Travis kissed or hugged! So entertaining! We ended our session with a few quick sunset shots on Sullivan's Island. It was a beautiful day. I can't wait to be a part of their wedding in March!
Enjoy!!
Alicia and Rob // A Historic Downtown Charleston Engagement Session
.
Spring is just about here and that means it is time to start having fun outdoors! Alicia and Rob decided that's what they wanted to do for their Charleston engagement session. They brought their bikes downtown and we cruised through the streets near The Battery.
Alicia and Rob have so much fun together and I can tell they make each other laugh, every day. :) I can't wait to photograph their wedding this May!
Lindsay and Jim // A Historic Downtown Charleston Engagement Session
.
Lindsay and Jim are a super fun couple who had so many great ideas for their engagement session. They knew they wanted historic downtown Charleston to be a part of their session and also to incorporate their love of food and cooking. So we decided to make a day of it, kind of like an adventure.
Our session started downtown near The Battery. Jim spotted an amazing gingko tree with its golden yellow leaves scattered on the ground. Playing in the leaves really set the tone for the rest of our session! We made our way through the brick side streets and alleys near The Battery photographing all things 'Charleston.' I even had them duck into some of my favorite 'secret' spots for a bit of romantic whimsy.
Next we made out way to the Saturday Farmers Market at Marion Square. There, Lindsay and Jim shopped for fruits, veggies, kettle popcorn and fresh pasta to cook with later that day. They even enjoyed an impromptu picnic in the park with their market finds.
We ended the day with Lindsay and Jim enjoying a sunset on the beach at Sullivan's Island. They brought a picnic of homemade treats prepared from their market finds and their kitchen. Bundled up for the cool weather and sipping on warm cider, they watched the sunset in each others arms. Such a wonderful day for love!
I really enjoyed Lindsay and Jim's 'adventure' engagement session - It was a great day with a wonderfully thoughtful and creative couple!
Enjoy!!
